Harold R. "Rod" Hough, 68, of Deerton, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at his home.

Rod was born March 9, 1954 in Flint, MI to Harold R. and Theresa J. (Brunette) Hough.

Rod married the former Linda M. Woodward on June 19, 1993 in Munising, MI. They had shared 47 happy years together before Rod's passing.

Rod worked for Smith Construction for many years. He enjoyed fishing and coin collecting. Rod also was a jack of all trades and talents.

Rod is survived by his wife, Linda Hough of Deerton; his two daughters, Billie Jo (Roger) Heggaton of Negaunee and Jennifer (John Horton) Hough of Deerton; grandchildren, Katlyn, Trevor and Kylie; two great-grandsons, Jack and Blake; mother, Theresa Hough; and two sisters, Donna and Brenda Hough. Rod was preceded in death by his father, Harold Hough and brother, Charles "Charlie" Hough.

A celebration of Rod's life will be held at a later date.
