Judy was one of the best teachers ever! She was dynamic, inclusive, and so giving to students. Two of my children were blessed to been part of her classrooms. As a parent who volunteered in her classroom and as a school board member, I was always so impressed with Judy's abilities to reach the "tough" students, make them enjoy education at least in her classroom. Her commitment to kids was stellar! I'm so sorry to hear of her loss.
Roy...I am so sorry to see that your wife has passed on. I never knew Judy well but every time her name ever came up in a conversation it was to sing her praises. She must have been a very fine person. Take care of yourself...Jim Simmons
I worked with Judy on a number of committees when we were teaching and found her to be intelligent, funny and a model educator. She loved her students and strive to be the best teacher she could be for them. She was interested in new innovations in teaching and was a role model for new teachers. My condolences at this sad time for your family.
