Jen , Holly and Families, My deepest condolences on the loss of your Mom and sister.
DEBRA LYNN STACK
April 21, 1958 - January 06, 2022
Deb, you can Rest In Peace . Sending prayers to the whole family.
Debbie and my great grandfathers were siblings who emigrated to the US from Sweden. And I grew up with my cousin, Debbie, in Skandia. Debbie was a few years younger than me and was in my sister, Connie's class. Connie, Debbie and I played together as children, and we hung out together as adolescents. As teens, I'd like to think we talked of our hopes and dreams, although I'm sure our time together was spent listening to music, dancing, school, and day to day life (Connie will have different memories as she was closer to Debbie than I was). And having moved from "home" and the UP as a young adult, I have always cherished those memories. Just this Christmas while "home" I brought a photo album from 1973-1976 which had several photos of Debbie at our old home on Ingalls Road. My sisters and I reminisced of our times with Debbie. I will always remember Debbie as a kind, generous and giving soul, quick to laugh. And now, I will hold those cherished memories even closer in my heart. My condolences to the Stacks-Debbie's family, her daughter, granddaughter and friends.
Thinking about you Jen and Petra! Hugs
Deb had an enviable free spirit that made knowing her a joy. Our sincere condolences to all the family for your huge loss.
Beautiful pic of Deb ❤ I've know Deb since the early '70's, we went to GHS at the the same time. She was one of the awesome Skandia kids!
I will remember her Cobalt blue striped crocks that she actually started buying from Heath's Hardware from her home town.
Lots of memories of me being her at-home private hairdresser for a long time too:)
She was so generous and very kind to everyone. If you asked Deb for a dollar, she'd give you two, something she and her husband Kurt would do for anybody.
Way too young too leave this thing we call life but may she please Rest in absolute Peace.
Long-time friend, Debi Tyni
