Obituary

Howard T. Blomiley, Jr., 84, of Marquette, passed away Wednesday evening, November 17, 2021, at his home.

He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1937 to the late Howard & Edna Mae Blomiley.

Howard moved to Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin at an early age and graduated from the Sturgeon Bay School System and later from the University of Wisconsin System.

He served overseas with the United States Army. After being honorably discharged, he was employed with General Motors for over 30 years. He retired in 1995 and moved to Marquette to be near his family and the area he loved.

Howard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary (Schoch) Blomiley, whom he married on April 22, 1961 in Stevens Point, WI; daughters, Tama (Ron) Ritari of Marquette and Becky (Steven) Hodgins of Marquette; grandchildren, Tom (Cassie) Lindberg, Ronald Ritari III, Daniel (Mary Jeanne) Chapman, Luke (Hayley) Chapman and Brooke Chapman; 6 great-grandchildren; a sister, Beth (Paul) Jacobson of Sturgeon Bay, WI; his beloved furry friend, Sailor Girl; and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Honoring Howard's wishes, a private graveside service will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery.
