Jean Elizabeth Clulo Trombley

Jean Elizabeth Clulo Trombley, 84, formerly of 156 W. Park Street, Marquette, died early Friday morning, March 1, 2002 at the Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.
Mrs. Trombley was born on September 30, 1917 in Marquette to the late William and Alice (McCarthy) Clulo. On December 27, 1941 she married her late husband, Edward Trombley at St. Peter Cathedral in Marquette.
Jean was a former Brownie troop leader, Cub Scout leader, and was an original founder and past president of the Marquette County Humane Society.
She worked for several years as assistant to the childrens librarian at the Peter White Public Library. Jean was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church as well as its altar society.
Survivors include one son, Michael Trombley of Xenia, OH; two daughters, Margaret Lynn (Gregory) Wilson of Pickerington, OH and Carol Jean Amross of Erie, PA; also surviving are four grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death besides her parents was her husband, Edward Trombley on October 16, 1998; one son, John Trombley in 1946; also seven sisters and three brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Michael Catholic Church with the Rev. Shaun Erno officiating. Burial will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
